Pada saat tertidur, panca indera dari tubuh Anda tidak bekerja, tetapi otak tetap bekerja, bahkan otak akan lebih aktif saat kita bermimpi daripada saat kita terbangun dan beraktivitas. Oleh karena itu, otak dapat menciptakan gambaran-gambaran berupa imajinasi tanpa ada peranan panca indera. Inilah mimpi.
